Thank you From Mildred’s Lane and The Mildred Complex(ity):
Year of Rearranging 2019
Thank you all for the extraordinary and marvelous series of projects and events at Mildred’s Lane! It is the people that make the sessions come alive as discursive, experimental actions and outcomes. This was one of the most outstanding seasons, adding to the twenty-two-year-old history of the place.

A Guide to the Field
Storefront Practices in the Social Realm
A project gallery exhibiting socially and politically sensitive artwork, including; textiles, sculpture, clothing, furniture, photography, painting, ceramics – fine art in the everyday – set in topic-driven installations (swarmings) by artists working in the social sphere. A Guide to the Field is naming the field that may transform several times during the months, with some unexpected outcomes around how and what things are made and collected.
Department of Interstitchiaries
The Department of Interstitchiaries is an organism of disparate parts and pieces of works stemming from the entanglements of Mildred’s Lane and The Mildred Complex(ity) projects. It is now trans-atelier – with a slow storefront identity – and the culmination of decades of interdisciplinary work.
Upcoming: Mildred’s Lane Fundraiser
Clothing sales featuring: Vintage J. Morgan Puett, Insititute of Dress, and others to be announced.
