THE UN-BORED-WALK

JULY 1 – JULY 28 THE UN-BORED-WALK

David Brooks will be in residence with a new landscape project, a design and build study of emergent walks interrupted by navigating the actual and the man-made. Brooks is a long-time collaborator on the project pondhousespringhouseicehousepond: ongoing negotiations in the landscape for over a decade.

During this month, we are in the water, which is so alive, we call it laughing water. Gina Siepel will be working on an installation at the Mildred Complex(ity), and we’ll understand more about her Coracles of Pignut Pond while she is here. Cameron Klavsen and Alex Schechter are designing a diving platform based (literally) on the boulder feature that mysteriously disappeared after the pond settled. Hope Ginsburg and friends will be working on an underwater film, while Josh Quarles creates music in collaboration with Pignut Pond.
