Mildred’s Lane Inc. hosts a series of ticketed and free events and artist’s exhibitions throughout the spring, summer, and fall months.
Exhibitions
The Mildred Complex(ity) Project Space is the public face of Mildred’s Lane and the main office of Mildred’s Lane Inc. The Complex(ity) often changes character as a storefront project space, a gallery, a lecture hall, or studio. The M.L.C. Project Space hosts artist’s exhibitions throughout the spring, summer, and fall months. Subscribe to our newsletter and follow our Instagram to stay updated on the openings of these exhibitions.
The Artists, Exhibitions and Events are typically celebrated during Town Fridays and Social Saturday programming.
Social Saturdays
Meals are a signature art form of Mildred’s Lane. Sharing meals together is a performative, imaginative, and social phenomenon, embodying our ethos of art practice. Through hosting countless meals over the years, the “workstyle” of Digestion Choreography has evolved to characterize this dynamic creative labor, which encompasses much more than just cooking.
Social Saturday is an event series that has been taking place for almost two decades, typically encompassing a late-afternoon guest lecture or presentation and a dinner. This summer we will host a handful of ticketed Social Saturday dinners to support our summer residency program. Introducing a sliding-scale ticket structure ($40–$80), attendance will directly support the honoraria of Resident Artists-in-Complexity, session collaborators, and visiting artists.
Town Fridays
Town Friday is a free public events hosted at or around our Mildred Complex(ity) Field Office on Main Street in Narrowsburg, New York. Featuring collaborators from our residency sessions, visiting artists, and partner organizations!
Guest Lectures & Workshops
