Visit Mildred’s Lane

We are now opening the site to individuals interested in historical exploration, contemporary art, collecting, and sustainable living practices in the 21st century. 

For twenty-seven years, Mildred’s Lane has been a meeting ground and crossroads for landscape interventions by renowned multidisciplinary artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

During the summer, Mildred’s Lane hosts educational workshops where artists engage with and enact research driven and critically engaged contemporary ideas that produce collaborative transhistorical artworks. Educational institutions send fellows to participate in these sessions to rethink human engagement with the non-human world around us through creative and environmentally sustainable practices for living on this delicate planet – inherent in the curriculum is the practice called WORKSTYLES.
